Our team is excited to meet you! Job Overview & Responsibilities As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues. You will support production operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and/or issue resolution, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team
  • Ability to support remotely outside of working hours as needed
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined in ITAR 22 CFR 120.62 (e.g., U.S. Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or protected individual).

  • Material Review Board Experience
  • Experience working in a nonconformance management system
  • Proficiency with SAP
  • Quality inspection experience
  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt

Responsibilities

  • Process nonconformance documentation and perform evaluations to restore product conformity
  • Review production planning for accuracy and adequacy to ensure quality data is properly captured
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions
  • Write, issue, and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with applicable standards
  • Perform planning reviews to ensure inspection needs and requirements are fully addressed
  • Conduct regular 5S walkdowns to maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and other assigned quality-related tasks
  • May be required to support remotely outside of standard working hours as needed
