About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Quality Coordinator (3rd shift) in Burlington, NC. This is a temp to perm role. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly. Hourly Pay: $15/hr plus $2/hr shift pay. Conversion to perm after 60 days - additional $1/hr. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 9:45pm - 6:15am. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment. Products Being Handled on site: Personal Hygiene Products/ General Merchandise. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Requirements

High school diploma required
Previous experience in food grade facility
Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance to specifications
Perform timely checks to meet specifications
Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
Maintain qualify to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
Ensure product quality to meet Customer, state and federal guidelines
Other duties as required or assigned
