About The Position

Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital, a partnership between UPMC and Select Medical, is seeking a Quality Coordinator (RN) for a full-time position. This role supports the hospital's commitment to providing exceptional and compassionate care for individuals with a wide range of complex medical conditions. Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred.
• Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness).
• Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Quality Management with all aspects of the hospital Quality Program.
• Collects and presents data for quality, environment, infection control, quality control, and risk management.
• Assists as directed in quality meetings and teams and helps prepare agenda items for required meetings.
• Assists with implementation of the hospital quality plan, survey readiness, and root cause analysis.
