About The Position

We are now hiring quality control to join the team at our Napoleon location! Located at P314 County Road 12, Napoleon, OH 43545. If you're looking for long-term employment with a company you can grow with, this is the position for you! Looking for someone with excellent customer service skills with experience with cycle counting and maintaining quality standards. Must have previous quality experience. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed. Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to employment. 1st shift Pay: $21.00 /hour Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. (6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. when OT is needed)

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with cycle counting
  • Experience maintaining quality standards
  • Previous quality experience
  • Knowledge of Company Procedures.
  • Skilled in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating system.
  • Skilled in the use of common office machinery.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the packaging/rework area.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction from supervisor and get along well with others.
  • Strong ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions.
  • Basic data entry and strong math skills.
  • Ability to recognize different product stack patterns
  • Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all quality checks on the production line.
  • Providing efficient customer service through telephone, email, and mail communications.
  • Completing cycle counts and keeping quality check records.
  • Verifying inventory accuracy and customer quality standards of finished product.
  • Provide efficient, courteous customer service through mail, telephone, and Internet communications.
  • Verifies the finished product has proper placard, inventory accuracy, meets customer’s quality standards, and keeps Quality Check records.
  • Resolve routine customer questions and complaints or refer to higher level.
  • Prepares and records all required processing data.
  • Completes cycle counts of WIP and finished products to ensure processing accuracy and resolve variances in WMS.
  • For food grade warehouses, follow all food safety standards set forth in a facility and actively participate in the food safety culture.
  • Assists crews as needed to maintain required levels of productivity and ensures all new associates have proper instruction of processing quality criteria.
  • Perform all essential functions of WMS.
  • Participate in corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement projects.
  • Knowing Clients’ system and responsible for completing the audits.
  • Sending weekly shortages to all customers.
  • Setting up all-new BOM’s and worksheets.
  • Recognize different product stack patterns.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
