About The Position

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) through the maintenance of quality records, documentation, data entry, and administrative processes. This position ensures quality-related information is accurate, organized, and readily available to support customer requirements, internal audits, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Coordinator works closely with Quality and Production teams to maintain quality system integrity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of work experience in manufacturing industry.
  • Speak, read and write English.
  • Successfully pass drug screen.
  • Successfully pass background check.
  • Maintain a professional image for Customers, Vendors, potential Employees and visitors.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to use the latest technology/software provided by company.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced computer literacy and ability with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills that can be practiced at all levels of the organization.
  • Understand company Quality Policy, ISO 9001 and AS 9100 fundamentals.
  • Ability to adhere to all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take on multiple projects at once that vary in nature.
  • Have an excellent sense of priorities and be a self-motivator.

  • Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
  • Basic color perception, peripheral and depth perception, close vision of 20 inches or less, distance vision of more than 20 feet are required for reading reports and working on computers, etc.
  • Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machines and computer screens.
  • Ability to monitor equipment sounds to identify and diagnose whether maintenance is needed; hear, understand, and communicate effectively with co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize quality records in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Enter inspection results, nonconformance data, corrective actions, and quality metrics into company systems.
  • Maintain material certifications, inspection reports, and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.
  • Ensure document control procedures are followed for quality-related documents and records.
  • Assist with creating, revising, and distributing quality procedures, forms, and work instructions.
  • Maintain calibration records and schedules for inspection equipment.
  • Monitor calibration due dates and communicate upcoming requirements.
  • Assist in preparation for internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports for management review.
  • Track customer complaints, internal nonconformances, scrap, and corrective actions.
  • Support the quality team with filing, scanning, and record retention activities.
  • May be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
