About The Position

KVA is currently seeking Quality Assurance Technicians for our plant operations specializing in relay panels and control houses.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Remain calm under pressure
• Self-motivated
• Team oriented
• Understanding of electrical circuits
• Understanding of wiring diagrams
• Willingness to learn and listen to and follow instructions
• Ability to meet attendance requirements including being on time for work and having reliable transportation.
• Holds a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years’ experience within a Quality related position
• Experience with electrical or quality
• Driver's License (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of basic symbols Ex: resistors, Diodes, NO, NC, Ground
• Experience with current injection
• Experience with powering up relays
• Knowledge of PLC
• Experience with SEL, GE protection Relays

Responsibilities

• Find errors in sequence of numbers and letters combined Ex: 1AD-C0491
• Follow procedure and adherence
• Work four 10-hour days with some occasional mandatory overtime.
• Meet attendance requirements including being on time for work and having reliable transportation.
• Pass a pre-employment criminal history check.
• Pass a DOT drug screen that goes back 30 days.
