About The Position
Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company that focuses on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. The work environment is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Nice To Haves
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets.
- Lifts pallet to examine pallet, removes defective boards, and corrects nail related issues.
- Understands pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers.
- Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of quality control station.
- Inspect pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination.
- Corrects defects that do not meet specification criteria.
- Removes damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
- Cleans area during and at end of shift.
