About The Position
Terzo is a logistics company that focuses on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. This role is for the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 6 am to 3:30 pm, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Terzo does not accept resumes from external recruiters.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
- Attention to detail & commitment to quality
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Nice To Haves
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets.
- Lifts pallets to examine pallets, removes defective boards, and corrects nail-related issues.
- Understands pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers.
- Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of the quality control station.
- Inspect pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination.
- Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
- Remove damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
- Cleans area during and at the end of shift.
- Performs other duties as required.
