About The Position

The Crescent Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring Production / Operational processes to ensure they meet and comply with applicable Safety, Quality, Regulatory & Customer standards in a Regulated cGMP Environment. This role is responsible for cGMP compliance and recording daily quality inspection activities to ensure the manufacture of top-quality, conforming product against customer specifications. The Quality Control Inspector will support the Business in operating as outlined in the Crescent Way and 3P’s: Purpose, Process, People, while building on the Culture of: Doing It Right, Doing It Safe, Doing It Well.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Ability to use a computer or tablet
Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
Basic Math and Reading Skills
The ability to read instructions and perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and understand percentages.
Self-driven to continually monitor the production line and make the decision necessary to improve the work flow and output.
The ability to communicate with facts, to balance talking with listening, to use communication to inspire People to achieve results.
Being self-motivated and motived by achieving set targets while continually seeking out opportunities to eliminate waste. Ability to accept and embrace change.
Determining how information fits together and how the information relates to production efficiency.
The ability to break a problem down into steps and produce a logical timely solution.
The ability to manage one’s time effectively, schedule and prioritize tasks in accordance with the demands of the multi-faceted position in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

Support and review material and workflow processes to ensure Design Quality and maximize production efficiencies.

Identify, drive and support all Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts.
Support auditing compliance to Crescent QMS to ensure Quality Programs and Systems are intact and meet Regulatory and Customer requirements.
Support all applicable internal & external (third party, customer and Regulatory) Quality audits and visits.
Measure, monitor and report Quality KPIs (Process Accuracy).
Participate as an active member of the Project Start Up Team to ensure Quality considerations and Design Quality have been implemented prior to new project start.
Support any new production specifications and requirements and train staff to ensure top quality (in specification) production and QA inspection.
Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities driving Quality CI initiatives.
Perform batch record review and batch release as required.
Ensure processes, programs and controls are intact and executed against to deliver top quality product to all Crescent customers.
Safeguard site Process Accuracy KPI to meet established targets.
Improve organizational efficiency and waste reduction.
Identify and train an individual capable of successfully completing all stated Key Responsibilities as appropriate to maintain integrity of position for progression planning and coverage during times of absence.
