About The Position

Responsible for ensuring a consistent level of performance across all contracts, through training and assessments based on standards defined in the Scope of Work and the customer’s expectations.

Requirements

  • A BA degree in business or a related field is required, but on-the-job experience will be considered.
  • This position requires a high level of communication skills, including training line workers, supervisors, and managers, as well as maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
  • Strict attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is required for the collection and maintenance of data acquired by the person in this position.
  • Valid State of Florida Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Quality Control/Training Manager and in conjunction with the Division Operations Manager, scheduling contract site visits to ensure that all employees are adequately trained in the safest manner to perform job procedures.
  • Contribute to the review of procedures/work instructions.
  • Ensure division employees receive all required training, including, but not limited to, orientation, ongoing, and annual.
  • Follow up when training is not completed.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Maintain the training database and provide periodic reports to supervisors and managers.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with training needs identified by the account or through the Corrective Action/Preventive Action program.
  • Support Goodwill’s Safety Program by distributing and collecting monthly safety training.
  • Assist Quality Control/Training Manager with the development and maintenance of other elements of the Service Contracts’ Quality Management System as required.
  • Manage inventory records for all accounts using CompuClean.
  • As needed, manage equipment maintenance and repair records using CompuClean.
  • Maintain a resource library of MSDS, training materials, videos, audio tapes, and forms related to the building maintenance industry.
  • Keep an index.
  • Correspondence, reports, and memos, as well as detailed spreadsheets involving training, will be required.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the Quality Control/Training Manager, ensuring that employees are adequately trained in the safest and most effective job procedures.
