About The Position

Requirements

  • Experience in quality control procedures and documentation required
  • Ability to work in a team environment with others in our company and treat our internal and external customers with courtesy and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience with reinforcing steel and coating procedures preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the quality of epoxy coated products from beginning of coating process through fabrication and to the point of shipment.
  • Performs various tests on products, monitor and adjust processes assuring a superior level of compliance with CRSI and ASTM standards.
  • Assure maximum efficiency of processes while following Company safety policies, and best practices in the epoxy coated rebar industry.
  • Department lead, ensuring team members meet job performance standards.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring the coating and production processes through performing, and recording various testing and observations.
  • Provide technical directions to employees regarding adjustment of procedures and equipment settings.
  • Ensure a safe work place and a team environment by promoting all Company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and participating in Lean concepts.
  • Maintain records, update spreadsheets, revise processes as manuals and standards are updated and document all activities.
  • Troubleshoot problems regarding quality of coated products.
  • Provide corrective recommendations or decisions and communicate to Branch Operations Manager.
  • Work with outside sources such as state and industry inspectors and representatives.
  • Direct or perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of equipment and quality of coated products.
