Requirements
- 3+ years of strong experience in IQC, IPQC, and/or OQC within a manufacturing or R&D environment
- Demonstrated hands-on root cause analysis and problem-solving capability
- Comfortable working in lab, dry room, or production environments
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in battery, electrochemical, materials, or hardware manufacturing is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform and lead receiving inspections for incoming materials and components
- Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs), lot traceability, and supplier documentation
- Identify, document, and quarantine nonconforming incoming material
- Support material qualification, change-based inspections, and supplier issue investigations
- Improve and standardize IQC procedures, checklists, and acceptance criteria
- Perform in-process inspections to verify critical process and quality parameters
- Monitor adherence to process controls and work instructions
- Identify process deviations and escalate issues in real time
- Support root cause analysis for in-process defects and yield losses
- Work with Manufacturing and R&D teams to implement corrective actions
- Perform final inspections on finished cells, components, or assemblies prior to release
- Verify compliance to defined specifications and release criteria
- Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and traceability prior to shipment or internal release
- Support disposition decisions for nonconforming finished goods
- Lead first-level root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone (4M), and data review
- Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness
- Track recurring quality issues and recommend preventive improvements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain
