In this role you will perform routine analytical and physical tests to ensure resulting finished products and packaging meets PepsiCo standards. Additionally you will work closely with production and perform a wide variety of tasks such as product testing, raw material inspection, finished good inspection, sanitation inspection, and creating finished good or packaging holds.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • 1+ year of experience with documentation, written procedures/SOPs, and recordkeeping.
  • 1+ year of experience performing calculations, measurements, and unit conversions.
  • 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the production lines for quality issues
  • Complete analytical testing on finished products using various scientific methods
  • Ensure compliance to food safety standards by performing audits and inspections
  • Collect and plate routine micro samples from ingredients, water, and equipment surfaces
  • Perform review of production paperwork for compliance
  • Complete routine lab equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Manage non-conforming finished products/ incoming materials
  • Create and train frontline and salaried staff on new SOPs
  • Conduct quality related trainings with front line associates
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma/TPM initiatives
  • Provide support to new product innovation projects
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
