About The Position

Inspect and/or test products to confirm they meet and comply with quality and safety standards and customer expectations. This role works independently and picks things up quickly, performing calibration testing across both our Pine Bluff and White Hall, AR facilities. It also involves coordinating with two supplier/vendor partners and occasionally traveling to their locations to support quality efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality-related role required
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and learn new processes quickly
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment)
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 10 hours per week between the Pine Bluff and White Hall, AR facilities (varies week to week), plus occasional travel to supplier/vendor locations
  • Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork
  • Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards

Nice To Haves

  • Inspection experience preferred
  • Calibration systems experience preferred
  • RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, test, or measure materials and product being produced
  • Use rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
  • Read and understand blueprints, documents, and manuals
  • Be proactive as well as reactive to product concerns
  • Follow instructions and ensure products are created efficiently and correctly
  • Test product and determine if it meets requirements
  • Assist in determining root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
  • Use hand tools or equipment
  • Operate a forklift, if required
  • Comply with safety guidelines and procedures
  • Analyze data
  • Produce and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Perform calibration testing across both the Pine Bluff and White Hall, AR facilities
  • Coordinate with supplier/vendor partners, including occasional travel to their locations, to support quality initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
