About The Position

The Quality Control Technician measures and visually inspects materials to ensure internal and external customer quality requirements are met. The role uses prints, checklists, and various measuring devices, and follows instructions and pre-established guidelines under immediate supervision. Inspections are performed at various points in the manufacturing process, including receiving, production cutting, assembly, packaging, storage, and shipping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of management or quality assurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record measurements and other critical data appropriately.
• Identify acceptable tolerances according to prints and other documents, and ensure operations remain within those tolerances.
• Stop production or other operations and notify appropriate personnel and management when nonconformances are discovered.
• Assist with investigating quality issues and occurrences, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
