About The Position

As a Quality Control Technician working onsite in Strongsville, OH, you will report to the Quality Manager to ensure powder coatings being produced meet all customer specifications. You will work alongside production to guide and correct adjustments as needed based on results found. We are dedicated to continuous improvements to our quality management system to achieve total satisfaction of the customer. This shift for this position is Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Requirements

• HS Diploma required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, to bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience preferred in quality control or lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations.
• May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures.
• Assist Engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs; assist in monitoring quality of finished goods and making the required adjustments; maintain/support documentation and records.
• Helps to maintain the safety program to minimize accidents and injuries and to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support problem resolution with cross-functional teams, including the production department, Engineers, and others.
