Requirements

  • Good eyesight and good eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to respect all safety requirements to ensure yours and your colleagues’ safety.
  • Able to operate department specific equipment necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Able to read, interpret, and follow SOPs, labels, instructions, specifications, and reference materials.
  • Ability to skillfully use a caliper, micrometer, tape rule and other instruments.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to problem solve by looking beyond obvious solution to a problem and endeavor to find the best solution.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills
  • With ERP system and other internally developed software.
  • With Microsoft pack: Word, Excel (spreadsheet).
  • Effective communication skills – written and oral.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Background in an industrial environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Chemical or Plastics Quality Assurance Laboratory Inspection or Testing

Responsibilities

  • Operate in compliance with all safety requirements of the facility.
  • Perform routine inspection and analysis on incoming raw materials, in process samples and finished products according to approved procedures.
  • Record QC inspection results and write QC reports.
  • Maintain data integrity and quality records as to the status of inspected parts.
  • Prepare and submit test samples as needed. Document and retain test results as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and specifications.
  • Assist in qualification, maintenance, and calibration of inspection equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Support Quality functions dealing with system performance such as: Preventive and Corrective Actions, Non-Conforming Materials, and Discrepant Materials Reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Help prepare Quality Standard Operating Procedures
  • Participate in training activities.
