About The Position

Responsible for the quality of epoxy coated products from beginning of coating process through fabrication and to the point of shipment. Performs various tests on products, monitor and adjust processes assuring a superior level of compliance with CRSI and ASTM standards. Assure maximum efficiency of processes while following Company safety policies, and best practices in the epoxy coated rebar industry. Department lead, ensuring team members meet job performance standards.

Requirements

Experience in quality control procedures and documentation required
Ability to work in a team environment with others in our company and treat our internal and external customers with courtesy and professionalism
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Confirm eligibility to legally work in the US

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience with reinforcing steel and coating procedures preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring the coating and production processes through performing, and recording various testing and observations.
Provide technical directions to employees regarding adjustment of procedures and equipment settings.
Ensure a safe work place and a team environment by promoting all Company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and participating in Lean concepts.
Maintain records, update spreadsheets, revise processes as manuals and standards are updated and document all activities.
Troubleshoot problems regarding quality of coated products. Provide corrective recommendations or decisions and communicate to Branch Operations Manager.
Work with outside sources such as state and industry inspectors and representatives.
Direct or perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of equipment and quality of coated products.
