About The Position

The Quality Control Technician organizes and maintains QC records, samples in-coming raw materials and finished goods, and supports manufacturing and quality control operations.

Requirements

  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn production sequences and the company’s quality standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Organizational skills; i.e. ability to alphabetize, numerically organize information.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Two years of related experience, preferably in quality control.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP Business One

Responsibilities

  • Provides entry-level support to manufacturing and quality control departments.
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP guidelines.
  • Approve and maintain incoming materials to be used in manufacturing and perform Finished Product release.
  • Ensure Compliance with all NADAs/ANADAs.
  • Responsible for maintaining approved stability programs.
  • Maintains files of all retained samples and records for quality control activities.
  • Perform testing on all incoming raw materials and finished goods, including but is not limited to Loss on Drying and Sakaguchi tests.
  • Assure all sampling is properly conducted in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
