About The Position

Impact Property Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to oversee daily flooring activities and examine products, materials, and workmanship for defects or deviations from approved projects. The role also supports warehouse activities that enable daily product installation, reviews project workmanship each day, and documents work activities in specific detail. All work must be performed safely and professionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Flooring installation or related experience.
• Foundational knowledge of flooring construction, installation, and products.
• Ability to communicate, present data, and influence decision making.
• Ability to focus on details while managing multiple projects.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, drive, and determination.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, with breaks.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Ability to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low.
• Ability to travel and be in a vehicle for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with multifamily property management companies.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Inspect flooring construction and installation activities on site.
• Develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements and standards for flooring and other construction projects.
• Design and implement methods for quality control and process improvements for testing and inspection.
• Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methods, quality plans, documents, and reports.
• Address customer concerns and issues, escalating them as necessary to support job completion and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to builder and post-sale customer concerns regarding warranty issues, repairs, and material or quality issues.
• Communicate with installers to ensure they understand job specifications and installation requirements.
• Work with account representatives in various departments to ensure complete and accurate information is provided for work assignments.
• Support warehouse activities related to daily product installation.
• Review project workmanship daily and document work activities in detail.
• Perform work in a safe and professional manner.
