About The Position

The GCC Quality Control Technician WS 1 safely works with plant and project teams to test and monitor operations, ensuring work activities meet or exceed owner quality specifications. The technician works with project teams daily to plan quality work and is certified in one area. This is an entry-level role involving routine assignments with limited judgment; detailed instructions are normally provided.

The technician helps meet or exceed project safety, quality, efficiency, and profit goals. In collaboration with the field manager or team lead, the technician helps build strong crews and teams and champions the company's vision of leadership in safety, quality, innovation, and efficiency. The role calls for professional conduct consistent with the company's values of fair and ethical success. The technician is expected to pursue continual learning and serve as a mentor and coach to other team members.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, addition, subtraction, and computer skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Ability to drive for prolonged periods; stand or walk for long periods; reach, handle, and manipulate objects with arms and hands; lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds; climb while carrying tools and equipment; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; and see naturally or with correction.
