About The Position
The Quality Control (QC) Technician will support a large government agency and is responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, testing products, and recording and analyzing results gathered during development and production in the organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Background check
- Successfully pass background and drug screening
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Visual Basic programming and macro generation
- Must be able to produce a customized report utilizing data available from integrated computer systems in CSV, txt, and XML formats
- Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills, including the ability to teach and explain methodologies
Nice To Haves
- 6+ months of relevant experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections to meet the standards set by the organization
- Focus on corrective actions to make sure the products meet specifications
- Maintain all documentation for the purpose of auditing
- Work with the Quality Control Supervisor regarding specific information related to product information and production
- Constant updating of job knowledge by reading specific information related to product information and production
- Find solutions to customers’ complaints and feedback
- Write reports and submit them to the quality control manager
- Assist in checking and updating quality control policies
- Other duties as assigned
