Requirements

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge (5S, Lean Manufacturing, technical drawing understanding)
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Excel, and Outlook
  • HS Graduate, AA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years prior quality control experience required, preferably in manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • People leadership experience desired, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Gives direction and improvement recommendations for quality processes.
  • Ensures compliance with quality control standards.
  • Monitors quality processes.
  • May conduct quality training programs for technicians, inspectors and/or for the production line.
  • Mentors quality and line staff and facilitates problem solving.
  • Maintains standard quality practices across all processes.
  • Records data, makes computations, analyzes results, and writes reports.
