About The Position

OBE is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Tech to support quality inspection and packaging in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role ensures finished doors meet customer requirements and are shipped accurately, while also supporting other production needs as required. OBE is a company with over 6,500 employees operating more than 80 manufacturing and distribution facilities in five countries, contributing architectural glass and building products to a wide range of projects.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused
• Coachable and willing to learn
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Wear required PPE at all times

Responsibilities

• Inspect doors for quality, dimensions, color, and function
• Install glass and verify required materials
• Package doors and confirm order accuracy
• Pack and verify additional hardware
• Read trip reports and confirm shipments
• Measure materials using a tape measure
• Label doors and boxes correctly
• Use software to allocate materials
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and supplies
• Identify aluminum profiles
• Assist with general production tasks
