About The Position

The QC Tech assists in ensuring products or services meet established quality standards by performing administrative tasks such as data entry, documentation, and record-keeping related to quality control processes. The role involves effectively communicating and resolving discrepancies from customer order specifications, preparing parts/merchandise for storage and/or shipment, verifying part condition against orders, and assisting with tasks such as inventory audits or handling returns. The company is a family-owned and operated automotive recycling company serving the community with premium recycled automotive parts since 1952, looking for outgoing, honest, and respectful individuals to join their growing family. New members will receive proper training and equipment.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
Forklift certification. Training and certification available.

Previous experience is a benefit but is not required.

Responsibilities

Effectively communicates and resolves any discrepancies from the customer’s order specifications.
Prepares parts/merchandise for storage and/or shipment using proper bagging, tagging, wrapping and packaging to prevent damage.
Verifies part condition and damage against order using ARA damage locators as it relates to inspecting merchandise and maintaining quality control.
Assist with tasks such as inventory audits or handling returns.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
