About The Position
The Quality Control Tech is responsible for sampling and testing aggregate, asphalt, and concrete in accordance with specifications and standards. This role also ensures that all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Quality Control experience/certifications required
- Good math, record keeping and problem-solving ability
- Computer spreadsheet experience preferred
- Ability to study, take and pass QC certification exams with adequate time and training provided
- Must be able to lift material samples of 75lbs. approximate. 10-15 times per day on occasion more depending on duties required
- Ability to work overtime; nights, weekends
- Strong communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/ functional exam and drug screen
- Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
Nice To Haves
- Engineering and statistics background helpful, but not necessary
