About The Position

HL Mando America Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor for their Hogansville, Georgia location. This role involves overseeing quality auditors and technicians across various production lines, leading daily quality meetings, and managing defect registration and reporting. The supervisor will ensure adequate auditor coverage, communicate process changes, and collaborate with other departments to resolve equipment issues and support production needs. A key aspect of the role is utilizing inspection data for process improvement and maintaining quality documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
2 years of experience performing quality control in the manufacturing industry.
2 years of experience reading CAD drawings.
2 years of experience performing 8D problem solving.
2 years of experience applying ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949 requirements.
2 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Supervise quality auditors and quality Technicians from REPS, STO and PPAK Lines.
Lead daily quality meeting and presentation of analysis results about process failures.
Daily defect status registration to G-MES systems and quality market status post to quality board.
Ensure that there is proper coverage of auditors for all shifts.
Communicate changes to Quality teams.
Effectively communicate and help resolve issues with equipment that is needed for part inspection.
Prioritize usage of auditors and equipment to support daily production requirements for Production Part Approval Process and engineering trials.
Support efforts to use inspection data for process improvement (i.e. SPC).
Work closely with Product Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams to support plant requirements and continuous improvement.
Responsible for proper quality documentation for auditing.
