About The Position

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all manufactured products throughout the production process, from receipt of raw materials through final inspection and testing. This position oversees quality control activities, maintains quality management systems, and works collaboratively with manufacturing and production teams to ensure products meet customer specifications and organizational quality standards.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience and strong leadership capabilities required.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required, or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret customer specifications, contracts, and product requirements as they relate to manufacturing processes and product assembly.
  • Maintain all documentation related to quality policies, procedures, inspections, and product traceability.
  • Collaborate with the Production Administration team to establish and communicate quality requirements for external suppliers.
  • Inspect incoming materials, supplies, and production components using purchase orders, product specifications, and instructions provided by the Production Administration team.
  • Determine acceptance or rejection of incoming materials and promptly communicate inspection results to the Production Administration team.
  • Ensure accepted materials are appropriately identified and released for production.
  • Segregate, label, and document nonconforming materials to prevent their use in the manufacturing process.
  • Oversee and perform first article, in-process, and final product inspections to verify compliance with established quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce inspection criteria to ensure only conforming products are released for shipment.
  • Conduct periodic audits of quality management systems and implement corrective actions for identified nonconformances.
  • Identify quality issues and ensure timely investigation, resolution, and documentation.
  • Analyze quality trends and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate quality concerns, findings, and corrective action recommendations to the Floor Supervisor, Manufacturing Manager, and Director of Manufacturing as needed.
  • Foster a culture of open, honest, and effective communication within the manufacturing environment.
  • Implement, maintain, and support compliance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System at Plant 2.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
