About The Position

Part of the manufacturing team, you are the driving force behind the creation of our kitchen and bath products. You will work hands-on with the products themselves, from the handling of raw materials to the shipping of a completed piece. You are responsible for ensuring that all products are properly assembled and manufactured to bring customers a consistently strong experience. Knowledge and attention to all safety protocols is an essential part of keeping our manufacturing operations safe and efficient.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent credential.
  • Physical ability to routinely lift up to 65 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with chinaware and faucets is preferred, though not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the quality and reliability of the products and services.
  • Verifying all work, identifying non-compliance issues, and servicing customer needs.
  • Resolving issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion with integrity and trust.
  • Efficient and effective performance of testing in conformance with the QC 400 regulations and standards.
  • Reporting to the DC’s Quality Supervisor.
  • Determining whether finished products are of a specified quality and attempting to determine the causes of product defects.
  • Developing methods for reducing the occurrences of product defects.
  • Inspecting and testing products.
  • Evaluating data and preparing summaries to show how the product might differ from existing standards of quality and reliability.
  • Suggesting changes in how products are made to achieve the best quality possible.
  • Recommending methods to minimize the amount of quality defects.
  • Documenting test results and forwarding communications with suppliers and manufacturing companies.
  • Establishing and maintaining a filing system for all projects, audits, and customer complaints with solutions.
  • Assisting the Distribution Manager on reducing damage loss through Quality Control measures.
  • Coordinating and executing re-work projects, random & targeted product audits, and corrective actions on sub-standard products.
  • Performing all tests and procedures according to the QC. 400 Inspection Manual.
  • Establishing training and directing workers on special projects.
  • Communicating with Quality, Customer Care, and Consumer Connections Teams daily to focus on current areas of product concerns.
