About The Position

This role is responsible for carrying out test procedures and executing test programs in accordance with guidelines. The Quality Control Specialist will develop and define test procedures at all stages of quality assurance processes, improve laboratory standards, and optimize testing methods. This position contributes to implementing new testing and mixing procedures, employing various methods and equipment for chemical testing. The specialist will interpret test results, provide guidance to management, and act as a point person for troubleshooting and testing excellence, also providing assistance and backup to the QA/QC manager.

Requirements

B.S. degree in any of the sciences/chemistry and/or >5 years’ experience in quality control operations of manufactured production oilfield chemicals or similar
Able to work with manufacturing, operations, lab personnel and commercial personnel in providing timely and accurate product property data
Familiarity and experience in the operation of typical lab instrumentation as well as wet chemistry methodology
Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms

Responsibilities
