About The Position

This role is responsible for the quality inspection and improvement activities of supplier parts, as well as analyzing parts for new vehicle projects to ensure high quality and conformity to international standards. The position is with Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant, which utilizes innovative and cutting-edge production technology.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand drawing and specifications of Power Electric & CHASSIS systems.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.

  • Minimum of 2 years of related job experience (Quality of automotive supplied parts).

Responsibilities

  • Execute per Operation Plan to ensure part quality per specifications, including field claim analysis, supplier management, and part inspection.
  • Analyze the cause of part problems, conduct improvement activities, and prepare and implement quality meetings.
  • Manage quality facilities/equipment, execute/manage investment costs, and establish supplementary investments.
  • Prepare, consult, and coordinate external events.
  • Participate in new vehicle projects, including preparation for inspection, establishment of quality securing plans, and response to evaluation.
  • Conduct monitoring of vehicle faults.
  • Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and computerized systems in accordance with reference standards and applicable legal requirements.
  • Plan, control, and monitor corrective actions for quality non-conformities detected in audits.
  • Prepare reports and publish timelines to provide feedback and improve the management system through technical support.
  • Be responsible for company certifications regarding the product.
  • Plan and track certifications to meet market demands.
  • Generate reports on troubleshooting.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.
