About The Position

The Quality Control Manager leads all inspection, verification, and product conformance activities within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment. This role oversees daily quality control operations, drives customer and supplier quality performance, and develops a strong, high-performing quality control team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing, inspection methods, and corrective action processes
Experience with calibration systems, gage control, and quality data analysis
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA)
Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or assembly manufacturing

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits
Manage document control and quality records
Oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process
Lead containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification activities
Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
Ensure calibration compliance, gage control, and testing effectiveness
Monitor special processes and product conformance
Manage nonconforming material and product control processes
Support domestic customers and domestic product quality performance
Analyze and report quality metrics including FPY, DPPM, audit results, and nonconformance trends
Develop, coach, and lead Quality Inspectors, Technicians, Engineers, and Supervisors
