About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting two seasoned, highly skilled Quality Control Managers - Machine Parts on behalf of a valued client partner in the precision manufacturing / medical device machining sector. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for these Quality Control Manager - Machine Parts opportunities. We are seeking experienced quality leaders who can manage inspection standards, oversee floor-level quality activity, coach inspection teams, and ensure precision machined parts meet strict dimensional and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong machining knowledge, leadership capability, and hands-on quality systems experience. Requirements

  • 5+ years of quality experience in machining, manufacturing, or precision parts environments
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in quality control
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
  • Experience inspecting machined parts using precision measuring tools
  • Proven experience managing NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation
  • Strong communication, coaching, and floor leadership skills
  • Ability to work onsite in West Chester, Pennsylvania
  • Stable employment history with clear progression; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485
  • CNC machining or machine shop background
  • Experience managing multi-shift inspection teams
  • Quality certifications such as CQE, CQT, Six Sigma, ASQ credentials
  • Exposure to CMM inspection environments
  • Strong data-driven continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily quality control operations supporting machining and production teams
  • Oversee in-process, first article, and final inspections for precision machine parts
  • Manage inspectors and quality personnel across assigned shifts
  • Ensure dimensional compliance using calipers, micrometers, comparators, gauges, and related tools
  • Review blueprints, GD&T callouts, specifications, and customer requirements
  • Drive corrective actions, root cause investigations, and nonconformance resolution
  • Maintain compliance with internal quality procedures and ISO-driven standards
  • Partner with machining, engineering, and operations teams to reduce defects and improve throughput
  • Track quality metrics, scrap trends, and inspection performance
  • Train staff on inspection methods, documentation, and quality expectations
