About The Position

EMI Services (EMI), a subsidiary of TechFlow Inc., has delivered exceptional facilities operations, maintenance, and base support services to military installations and federal customers nationwide for over three decades. EMI has an immediate opportunity for a Quality Control Manager to work directly with the Project Manager, Operations Manager, Safety Supervisor, and United States Government representatives to ensure contract requirements and performance standards are consistently met. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Control (QC) Program, conducting inspections of services and work performed, evaluating performance data, and preparing reports that validate compliance or identify areas for improvement. The Quality Control Manager monitors building conditions and project activities for potential quality, safety, and health concerns in coordination with the Safety Supervisor. This role investigates customer complaints, analyzes findings, develops corrective action recommendations, and reports results to project leadership. The successful candidate will promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence while helping ensure the highest level of performance across all contract operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (1:2 ratio) with maintenance and repair facilities preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a QC/Safety Manager or over 5 years as a QC Inspector in a DoD facilities support services/hazardous waste disposal management environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective technical, interpersonal, organizational and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Valid driver’s license compliant with REAL ID Act or willing and able to obtain one.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installation.
  • This individual is subject to Government approval

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality surveillance and tracking system for maintenance shops and subcontractors.
  • Develops and implements QC plan, ensuring environmental plan compliance, performance monitoring, analysis and reporting.
  • Advises the Project Manager on quality control, safety and environmental program status, strategies, issues and potential problem areas.
  • Monitors and tracks specialized qualifications or credentials such as licenses, certificates, degrees or training needed by personnel.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work.
  • Promotes and maintains a positive image of EMI to our customer, vendors, employees, and the community.
  • Maintains confidentiality of information related to EMI, our customers, vendors and employees.
  • Establishes priorities to ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner.
  • Continuously strive to accomplish individual and EMI goals.
  • Inform the Project Manager of all pertinent problems, irregularities, and other important information within area of responsibility.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include proper use of personal protective equipment.
