About The Position

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures across all fabrication shop operations. This role involves conducting audits and inspections, leading corrective and preventive action initiatives, and collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality standards. The manager will also train and lead quality control personnel, handle customer concerns, and maintain detailed quality records.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control or assurance required.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Prior work experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, and welding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them.
  • Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF editors.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.

  • Handle customer quality concerns and complaints.
  • Maintain detailed quality records and documentation.
  • Coordinate supplier quality and raw material compliance.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to leadership.
