About The Position

Campos Fabrication is seeking a Quality Control Manager to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures across all fabrication shop operations. This role involves conducting audits, leading corrective actions, collaborating with various teams, and managing quality control personnel. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with standards, handle customer concerns, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control or assurance required.
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and compliance requirements.
Prior work experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, and welding
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them.
Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands.
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF editors.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients.
Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack.

Self Starter and the ability to keep moving forward with minimal direction.
Requires ongoing coordination, communication and/or team problem-solving between departments or functional areas and clients for work production or service quality.
This position requires regular contact with employees on the fabrication floor, with procurement department employees, and vendor and shipper employees.
Incumbents will constantly utilize written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and speaking, and reach and grasp objects.
Incumbents will regularly experience periods of prolonged sitting, standing, walking, traveling/driving a vehicle, and lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
Incumbents will occasionally lift objects up to 50 lbs.
This position requires the incumbent to operate office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, and copiers.
This position would also require the ability to operate fabrication equipment including the revolver pipe-cutting table, plasma table.
This position requires the incumbent to operate forklifts and pallet jacks constantly

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
