About The Position

The Quality Control Manager manages contract quality control and implements quality and safety plans across all functional tabs. The role maintains inspection, training, and deliverable controls to demonstrate compliance; leads the site quality management system; and provides an independent assessment of contract performance. The manager uses risk-based inspections, customer feedback, and system-generated metrics to identify deficiencies, verify corrective-action effectiveness, and support Government surveillance. The position coordinates with functional managers and the safety organization without taking on their operational duties or approving corrective actions arising from the manager’s own audits. The role requires on-site core-hour coverage and after-hours availability. The manager must complete required background and access processing, HSPD-12 credentialing, applicable onboarding and safety training, and the proposal’s Lautenberg certification process before performing assigned duties. The position is subject to a required government background investigation as applicable and pre-employment substance abuse testing. The employer states that duties may be modified or supplemented as needed.
