About The Position

Quality Control Manager - Machine Parts Chester County, PA Yearly Salary: $$65,000-$90,000 1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM 2nd Shift: 3:00PM-11:30PM Responsibilities: Oversees quality control activities for precision machined medical device components Responsible for inspection planning, First Article and in process inspections, non conformance management, ERP tracking, ISO compliance Responsible for blueprint reading and GD&T Responsible for performing FAI's and in process inspections, non conformance investigations, MB's, and corrective actions Requirements 5+ years of quality experience in a precision machining environment Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T Experience performing FAI's and in process inspections Experience with non conformance investigations, MRBs, and corrective actions Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems Ability to train and mentor inspectors and machinists Preferred Qualifications CNC machining or Swiss machining experience Experience supporting internal audits and calibration programs ERP system experience in a manufacturing environment Engineering degree or equivalent hand on experience Benefits Health Insurance plans including a 100% health insurance plan with an HSA option for eligible employees Dental and vision coverage 401K plan with employer match (up to 3%) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with free confidential support for employees and their families Multiple shift options available (1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend schedules) Generous PTO offered in the first year, increasing with tenure 7 paid holidays annually Defined career advancement opportunities Paid training on advanced CNC programming software Tuition reimbursement and education assistance programs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quality experience in a precision machining environment
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T
  • Experience performing FAI's and in process inspections
  • Experience with non conformance investigations, MRBs, and corrective actions
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems
  • Ability to train and mentor inspectors and machinists

Nice To Haves

  • CNC machining or Swiss machining experience
  • Experience supporting internal audits and calibration programs
  • ERP system experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Engineering degree or equivalent hand on experience
