About The Position

At Clark Pacific, the Quality Control Lead Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of products throughout all phases of manufacturing. This position is responsible for leading inspection processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing and engineering teams. The Quality Control Lead Inspector ensures that all materials, processes, and finished products meet company standards and compliance requirements. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain consistency, accuracy, and efficiency throughout production.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of inspection experience in construction or manufacturing environments (precast concrete preferred)
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Experience with quality control processes, inspections, and testing procedures
  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain)
  • ACI, PCI, or ICC certifications
  • Experience in precast concrete manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of materials, forms, and embeds prior to concrete placement
  • Conduct routine and final inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Verify reinforcement placement, dimensions, tolerances, and cast-in components
  • Monitor and report defects such as cracking, finish issues, or inconsistencies
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and protection of products to prevent damage
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, testing data, and documentation
  • Perform standardized testing and inspections in compliance with ACI, PCI, and IAS requirements
  • Support quality assurance processes including camber verification and Sure Cure system monitoring
  • Communicate inspection results and quality concerns with Manufacturing and Engineering teams
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and developing Quality Control Inspectors
  • Promote and follow all safety standards and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
