About The Position

Streck is seeking a hands-on leader to supervise technicians and engineers responsible for maintaining hematology, chemistry, molecular, body fluid, and flow cytometry instrumentation. The role involves solving technical problems, coaching a team, and contributing to the quality of products that support laboratories globally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an Associate's degree paired with applicable hands-on experience.
Experience working in an ISO/FDA-regulated environment.
Strong organizational skills and a track record of dependability.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and in person.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to pick up new tools as needed.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, schedule, and direct the daily activities of a team of Quality Control Instrument and Service Technicians/Engineers.
Serve as the technical go-to for instrument use and functionality across hematology, chemistry, molecular, body fluid, flow cytometry, and OEM equipment.
Review and approve completed work within the Quality Control Instrument Lab, ensuring every task meets regulatory, safety, and quality expectations.
Train, coach, and evaluate direct reports, building skills and verifying competency across the team.
Establish and maintain departmental protocols, and lead process-improvement projects that make the lab run better.
Partner with the Quality Control Manager to translate organizational goals into day-to-day department priorities.
Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
