About The Position

The Quality Lab Technician supports manufacturing by performing accurate testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products. The role ensures timely communication of test results, batch adjustments, and release decisions to operations teams. The technician also initiates notifications and conducts preliminary investigations for non-conforming materials.

Requirements

• Junior college degree or higher in a chemistry-related field.
• Laboratory experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the chemical industry.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.
• Familiarity with SAP data entry processes.
• Experience collaborating in multinational environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical, and visual testing using standard procedures.
• Record test data and usage decisions in SAP.
• Determine raw material adjustment amounts to meet specifications.
• Collect and store retain samples as required.
• Create non-conformance notifications and complete initial investigations.
• Support customer complaint investigations through batch and sample review.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and housekeeping standards.
• Prepare reagents and ensure readiness for scheduled production testing.
