About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with company quality standards. This role also supports RMA processing, documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of QC, inspection, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of inspection tools such as calipers and gauges
  • Ability to follow procedures, specifications, and engineering drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP/data entry systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections on incoming supplier deliveries, picked parts, and finished assembled products
  • Develop proficiency in QC processes, inspection tools, and quality procedures
  • Support production schedules in coordination with the QC team
  • Follow inspection procedures accurately and consistently
  • Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records and documentation
  • Inspect and evaluate returned materials to identify defects, damage, or causes of failure
  • Record RMA findings and communicate results with QC Supervisor and Engineering teams
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to support RMA processing
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
  • Participate in cross-training across multiple inspection areas
  • Provide feedback on workflow improvements and inspection practices
  • Support implementation of new quality processes, tools, and initiatives
