About The Position
ClearWater is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for a 5-week Turnaround project in Medicine Hat, AB, starting August 10, 2026. This role involves a 6 In 1 Out schedule with 12-hour workdays. The position offers a daily Living Out Allowance (LOA) of $170 and travel pay of $300 for travel to and from the site.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control in Piping and/or Mechanical (Pressure Vessels/Exchangers/Furnaces/Boilers).
- Possess QAQC specific certifications, such as CWB W178.2 Level 2.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSTS-2020, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, WHMIS.
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
- Must have own reliable transportation to site.
- Ability to complete drug and alcohol testing for this safety-sensitive position.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control inspections in Piping and/or Mechanical areas, including Pressure Vessels, Exchangers, Furnaces, and Boilers.
- Ensure compliance with QAQC standards and certifications.
- Adhere to all mandatory safety ticket requirements.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
- Perform demanding job tasks physically in various work conditions.
- Maintain reliable transportation to the site.
