About The Position

CoolIT Systems is a leading Direct Liquid Cooling technology provider for data centers, supercomputers, and desktop computers, designing and manufacturing solutions used by the largest tech companies globally. Recognized for rapid growth, the company is seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to join their Quality Control team. This role requires strong metrology skills and attention to detail. The position reports directly to the Quality Control Manager and is a 3-month contract position with day and evening shifts available.

Requirements

Graduate of a Mechanical Technician/Technologist Program or an Electronic Technician/Technologist Program
1+ years of related experience in Quality Inspection
Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Metrology training
Knowledge about specific measurement equipment: OMM, CMM, CT Scan.
Experience with Quality Core Tools
ISO 9001 certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming quality control on purchase components (plastic and metal materials).
Collaborate with the lab manager to complete daily activities involving quality as receiving and in-process control.
Standardized measurement inspection throughout the organization.
Help the team to solve internal failure analysis and control nonconformance materials.
Assist the quality team in performing MSA (measurement system analysis).
Perform capability analysis on critical components.
Ensures all jobs are completed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Maintain testing equipment in good condition and calibration of test equipment.
Report any non-conformance concerns to the management.
Must possess good knowledge of quality standards and working knowledge of ISO certification requirements.
Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.
