About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards. This role supports production by identifying defects, documenting results, and ensuring corrective actions are communicated and implemented.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with data entry and quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Knowledge of measurement tools and inspection techniques
  • Understanding of safety rules, operating procedures, and quality requirements
  • Quality-focused with a strong sense of accountability
  • Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide feedback to production teams
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions
  • Inspect and approve incoming materials by verifying specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting nonconforming materials
  • Conduct in-process inspections to confirm product meets specifications and communicate required adjustments to production personnel
  • Perform final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards prior to shipment
  • Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions, ensuring calibration compliance, and coordinating repairs as needed
  • Document inspection results through reports, logs, and quality databases, including tracking rework and scrap
  • Ensure all fabrication Traveler Work Orders and inspection log sheets are accurately completed and maintained per procedures
  • Follow production plans and priorities to meet customer delivery requirements
  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment within inspection and packaging areas
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and process efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
