About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of vehicle parts inventory and the quality of installations. This role involves physically checking tags on vehicles, verifying parts stock, matching parts to vehicles, recording inventory changes in a database, and conducting regular inventory counts. The inspector also completes QC Inspection Forms, ensures no damage occurred during installation, and reports any damage found.

Requirements

  • Ability to pull and check tags on vehicles.
  • Skill in verifying parts stock.
  • Proficiency in matching parts to vehicles.
  • Experience in recording inventory changes in a database.
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Capability to conduct physical inventory counts.
  • Familiarity with completing inspection forms.
  • Attention to detail to ensure no damage occurred during installation.
  • Strong reporting skills for any damage found.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and check tags on vehicles.
  • Verify that all parts are in stock.
  • Match specific parts to vehicles needing installation and place them with the appropriate vehicle.
  • Record parts removed from inventory into the database.
  • Keep an accurate inventory count of all parts in stock.
  • Conduct annual hard count inventory of all parts.
  • Complete QC Inspection Form for all completed installs.
  • Ensure no damage happened during the installation.
  • Report all damage found.
