About The Position

Join Ferrovial Webber Energy, a joint venture dedicated to promoting the transition toward a sustainable, clean, and cutting-edge economy. As a full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company, we focus on delivering turnkey solutions for renewable energy projects, including photovoltaic (PV) plants, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and wind projects. We are seeking a dynamic Quality Control Inspector to join our team and drive excellence through technical expertise and innovation. This role involves inspecting construction methods and workmanship to ensure compliance with plans and specifications on large and complex projects.

Requirements

5+ Civil Inspection related experience preferred.
Quality experience on renewable/utility construction projects or other heavy civil projects with similar features of work.
Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
Proven subject matter expert in testing, inspection processes and construction procedures.
Leadership and mentoring ability and ownership.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing and documentation.
Move up to 50 pounds (items to be moved for example include, debris, concrete, signs, testing equipment).
Interprets applicable plans, specifications, prepares estimates, reviews and addresses compliance requirements.
Performs Construction engineering policies and procedures.
Applicable inspection methods, procedures and techniques.
Applicable testing methods, processes and procedures.
Communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups.
Able to mobile and desktop applications and software to perform the work.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Inspection Certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as an inspector or assist in overseeing construction inspection activities for very large and complex projects.
Inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure contractors work is in accordance with plans and specifications.
Document the work.
Lead or can lead the work of technical and certified employees.
Perform or cause to perform, including coordination, the approved quality control process and documentation for the project as assigned.
Document findings, evaluations and inspections using Company prescribed procedures and software.
Assist with protocols, qualifications, and prescribed validation procedures and documentation.
Perform system verifications on completed systems to ensure correct installation per contract design specifications.
Document, analyze and report performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
Support impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce the organization’s environmental risks and financial costs, in the direction of the environmental team and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of the Company’s values and strategic plan.
Support published corporate policies.
Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.
