Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one (1) year of Quality Control experience.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or similar regulatory standards.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., stand or sit for extended periods, work around loud machinery, and perform repetitive motion.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency with computers and MS Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of SPC, PPAP, and other quality tools.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory control practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work off‑shifts, weekends, and extended shifts (10–12 hours) as required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, route sheets, bills of material, and engineering specifications.
  • Perform product inspections and testing, including dimensional checks and bubble point testing; complete inspection sheets and associated documentation.
  • Investigate customer quality complaints and returns, document containment actions, and support corrective actions.
  • Prepare Certificates of Conformance and other quality documentation for final product release.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action development.
  • Execute resolution activities for nonconforming materials using DCI resources.
  • Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
  • Manage and perform calibration of gauges, calipers, and other measurement equipment.
  • Assist with ISO 9001 activities and follow‑up audit actions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with all EHS and PPE policies.
