As part of the Operations Quality team in McKinney, TX, the Quality Inspector will assure product and process quality with emphasis on Product Compliance using technical documentation / drawings and manufacturing standards. You will have a great and direct impact on our Customer Satisfaction and delivery. The Quality Inspector will inspect for final acceptance, all types and series of hardware to determine that build, rework, modification and repairs conform to contractual/drawing requirements. Inspect electronic and/or mechanical hardware referencing quality control standards, workmanship and drawing specifications by checking such items as parts, wires, solder joints and terminals using appropriate inspection devices. Inspect and reject for tests or rework or otherwise approves hardware as acceptable. Assist in managing out of flow process for sub-assemblies to ensure compliance to command media. Ideal candidate will be expected to travel between facilities on campus on foot on a regular and/or as business requires. Prepare reports and maintain records as required. Meet necessary certifications as required. Perform incidental related duties as assigned or required. This is a 1st shift position. M-F 8-hour shifts.
