About The Position

Ultra Electronics, ICE is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing operations team to inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work. Hours for this position are typically Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Responsibilities

Inspect products using gauges, calipers, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; and communicating findings to supervisor.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; and confirming re-work.
Document inspection results by completing checklists, reports, and logs; summarizing re-work and scrap; inputting data into quality database.
Verify quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Packages items and prepares them for outbound shipping.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Any other duties as required.
